This leading active layer structure's panel (skin) is a fiberglass-reinforced plastic sheet, and the sandwich layer is a fibreglass-reinforced plastic trapezoidal plate or rectangular plate. This kind of sandwich structure has strong directionality and is only suitable for making high-strength flat plates and is not suitable for curved products.
(4) Circular sandwich structure
It uses fibreglass sheets as the skin and fibreglass rings as the sandwich layer. This kind of sandwich structure is characterized by low core material consumption, relatively high strength, and non-directional stress on the flat plate. It is most suitable for use as a transparent fibreglass sandwich structure plate for lighting, with the characteristics of less obstruction and high light transmittance.
