(1)   Foam plastic sandwich structure

The foam plastic sandwich structure uses fibreglass sheets as the skin (panel) and foam plastic as the core layer. The biggest features of the foam plastic sandwich structure are the strong bonding between the skin and the foam plastic core layer, low stress, and thermal insulation performance—components with high requirements, such as aircraft tails, thermal insulation ventilation ducts and templates, etc.

(2)   Honeycomb sandwich structure

The honeycomb sandwich structure uses fibreglass sheets as the skin and honeycomb materials (glass cloth honeycomb, paper honeycomb or other cotton cloth and aluminium honeycomb, etc.) as the sandwich layer. The honeycomb sandwich structure is light in weight, high in strength and rigid. It is often used as structural parts with large structural sizes and high strength requirements, such as load-bearing plates of fibreglass bridges, spherical roof structures, radomes, reflective surfaces, refrigerated truck floors and box structures. wait.

(3)   Trapezoidal and rectangular leading layer structure

This leading active layer structure's panel (skin) is a fiberglass-reinforced plastic sheet, and the sandwich layer is a fibreglass-reinforced plastic trapezoidal plate or rectangular plate. This kind of sandwich structure has strong directionality and is only suitable for making high-strength flat plates and is not suitable for curved products.

(4)   Circular sandwich structure

It uses fibreglass sheets as the skin and fibreglass rings as the sandwich layer. This kind of sandwich structure is characterized by low core material consumption, relatively high strength, and non-directional stress on the flat plate. It is most suitable for use as a transparent fibreglass sandwich structure plate for lighting, with the characteristics of less obstruction and high light transmittance.
